Recently Randy returned from India, where he went with a group from Water For People. While there Randy got to see firsthand the work that Water For People is doing in India. You can see photos from his trip here! Glacier crews volunteered to help The Harp Project in Pueblo, Colorado to remove and replace the old river walk deck with a new 60' x 40' trek deck. They worked weekends and their extra time to complete this project and keep the river walk safe and looking great. Glacier Helps Support the Rocky Mountain Section Water For People Glacier was happy to attend and help support the Rocky Mountain Section Water For People at their golf tournament that was held at Fossil Trace Golf Course in Golden, Colorado. A perfect day raising money for a great cause. Glacier Helps with Installation of the Shade Structures for the City of Pueblo On Friday, May 25th the City of Pueblo, Colorado held a ribbon cutting ceremony for the new Shade Structures at The Rides at City Park. Glacier was happy to donate manpower and materials to make this project a success. Glacier would like to thank Black & Veatch Corporation, Pearson Drilling Services, and 2M Company who partnered with us to complete this project. Glacier Helps the Rangeview Metropolitan District with an Emergency Project Last week the Rangeview Metropolitan District had an emergency due to a tear in the lining of an aeration basin, and therefore the contents were seeping into the ground. Glacier and Harold's Excavation worked immediately with the District to install an earth berm at the location of the tear to provide a barrier to repair the damaged liner. Glacier also extended existing influent lines for the District to make room for the 10' wide berm. At this year's RMWEA Strikes and Spares for Science Fairs event, Glacier's team, "Pooper Heroes", took home first prize in the costume contest for the third year running. The profits from this event will help bring the RMWEA science fair winners to Alaska to compete at the national level. This is a great event every year that Glacier is happy to be a part of.
