Located in downtown Hollywood, Florida, Gallery 2014, LLC is a nonprofit organization founded by Elizabeth Sanjuan and Ken Brown in 2012. Its primary mission is to celebrate, learn from, and acquire works by local, new, and emerging artists from around the globe. Based at 2014 Harrison Street, the gallery serves as an independent art space that provides public exposure to young artists who might not otherwise have such opportunities. Gallery 2014 goes beyond traditional gallery functions by offering studio areas for 'artists-in-residence,' giving selected local creatives a chance to work and showcase their art. Additionally, the gallery hosts various educational activities including art classes, live sessions, and seminars within its flexible space. Regular exhibitions feature works from students in southern Florida and international artists that the founders have encountered during their travels. The range of visual media displayed is diverse, including photography, painting, graphic design, sculpture, installations, video, fiber arts, collage, and mixed media. Operating under the Sanjuan-Brown Hollywood Arts Foundation, Inc., a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation, Gallery 2014 aims to promote artistic advancement and support charitable causes worldwide. The foundation's mission is focused on fostering global awareness through artistic collaboration and community engagement, emphasizing arts education by providing scholarships through Fundación Sanjuan.
