We are a shooting range, training facility, and pro shop in Gainesville, FL. We have competitions every month, and host a variety of classes for every skill level. Our core mission is to produce safe, competent, The core mission of Shoot GTR is to produce safe, competent, and responsible gun owners. We accomplish this by educating students in the three elements of shooting: safety, marksmanship, and tactics. We then provide a venue for those skills to be sharpened through practice, competition, and further professional instruction. We are not a “fire one round into a barrel” type of training facility. If you are looking for in-depth, top tier firearms training from a team of experienced instructors with decades of real world experience then you have come to the right place. Our instructors come from military, local and federal law enforcement, and competitive shooting backgrounds. is a growing and modern facility with a current total of 13 shooting venues aimed at a broad array of disciplines and firearm types. From our 200 yard rifle range to our our various pistol and carbine ranges, and from our steel target ranges to our brand new private bays and classrooms, GTR has something for everyone. Whether you are a novice wanting to develop basic shooting skills, or you are a pro looking to fine tune your move-and-shoot or holster draw skills, we have what you need. Prior to your first shooting outing at GTR, we will provide you with a standardized safety and procedures overview designed to brief all new members on the do’s and dont’s of our shooting venues.
