Nicole is the Owner of Fur Dogs Only Grooming and has been grooming since 2010. Nicole has grown up around animals her whole life and has a passion for their well-being. Nicole was taught to groom by a certified groomer here in Fort Pierce and is knowledgeable in hand scissoring and most breed styles. She strives to be constantly furthering her knowledge in dog grooming so she can help make each dog look and feel their best. She attends yearly seminars with the National Dog Groomer’s Association of America as well as keeps up on modern styles. Her favorite breeds to groom include Poodles (Standards, Miniatures, and Toys), and Bichons. Nicole loves to be creative when it comes to making dogs stand out with Pet friendly hair coloring, nail polish and creative designs. She enjoys helping her clients choose the right clips for their dog(s) to keep them looking and feeling great! In 2006, Nicole G started working in a local pet shop, located in the quaint and historic community of Pelham, Westchester County, NY. Shortly thereafter, she began her life changing apprenticeship, from the loving and skilled academy graduated groomer there, and her love of grooming was born! Nicole G takes pride in her services, and not only wants to ensure your happiness with your fur baby's spa day, but she also wants to be able to provide a positive, soothing, and healing experience for your pretty pooch. Nicole G has 2 adorable twin chihuahuas, Bella and Bino, and 3 of the sweetest kitties you'd ever meet (Bink, Bam, and Bindy). As she loves beautifying all dogs from Doodles to Dingos, she specializes in grooming double coated breeds with lots of undercoat, pups struggling with stubborn skin issues, and Spaniels of all coats and colors.(She thinks Spaniels are the bee's knees!) With a passion for doggie aesthetics, skin, and coat care, she has the perfect treatment plan to make your pup look and feel more comfortable at the salon and at home. Nicole G really wants to give your fur baby the celebrity makeover she so very much deserves, so don't hesitate to be very specific, or let's get totally creative! Did you know she also does temporary doggie tattoos?! Wow! Nicole G is available Tuesdays through Saturdays during normal business hours, and may be able to make arrangements in advance for later appointment times for special circumstances.
