Mission Statement: Funthropy, Inc. is a Delaware non-profit corporation and Section 501(c)(3) Public Charity (509[a][2]) recognized by the U.S. Internal Revenue Service. Funthropy, Inc., through its World Wide Web (Internet) presence as Funthropy.com has three main purposes: Promote and assist with the fundraising efforts of others, aggregate and distribute funds raised on the Internet so as to simplify the collection of funds raised, thus helping other charities to reduce their paperwork and administrative burdens; Mr. Ellicott spent the last 20 years assisting inventors, artists and authors to bring their creative projects to the public as an Intellectual Property Attorney. He participated in his first "Bike-a-thon" at the age of 10 and has been a firm believer in the riteousness of boots on the ground participation in charitable events ever since. Having personally participated in numerous events during the intervening forty years, he gained an appreciation for the difficulties charities have in attracting new participants and creative ideas for fundraising. He directs the activites of Funthropy.com from its office in Northern Florida. Mr. Gorfain brings with him over thirty years of business and management experience. His time in college broadened his perspective of the "good life" to include charitable activities and drove him to actively participate in fundraising for a national cancer eradication charity. He currently focuses on entertainment and performs regularly on stage as a rock-and-roll singer and musician. Funthropy is proud to have a Board composed of honorable people with diverse backgrounds and skills who can help bring a new approach to philanthropy and chart a course through the great ocean of opportunity that is the World Wide Net.
