Timeliness, good communication and avoidance of surprises also are values we hold high. Kim is FRUS Capital’s founder and principal owner. He is responsible for the successful delivery of all our Firm’s services to our clients. Kim has nearly 40 years of business and financial experience having served as the chief financial officer (“CFO”) of publicly traded and privately owned businesses. Two of his most significant senior executive positions include having served as the CFO of a publicly traded medical professional liability insurance group, and as the CFO and a senior leadership team member of one of the largest insurance and financial services business units of GE Capital. Prior to his service and accomplishments as a senior executive and consultant, Kim was a partner of the international accounting firm, PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP (f/k/a Coopers & Lybrand, L.L.P.). Kim graduated with honors from the University of Florida and received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, with a major in Accounting. Throughout his career, now spanning nearly four decades, he has successfully developed and led organizations and their finance and operating teams in numerous settings, locations and circumstances. In addition to his substantial business and finance-related achievements, Kim has a knack for identifying and developing outstanding talent and has done so at virtually every organization he has ever served. He has a solid reputation and track record as a team builder and as an executive and leader who leaves the organizations he serves fundamentally better than when he arrived.
