They have given everything in the service of our nation, and Friends of U.S. Military Families, is dedicated to giving them support in times of need. Established in 2007, Friends of U.S. Military Families has donated more than $300,000 to the military community of West Central Florida, including those on active duty and organizations which provide care and comfort to veterans. Through the generous contributions of our members, Friends of U.S. Military Families has provided scholarships to students from military families, financial assistance to active duty personnel and their dependents, seeing-eye dogs to visually-impaired veterans and aid for the recovery of wounded warriors. We're grateful to our members for joining us in this mission, and to every member of the Armed Forces, past and present, for devoting themselves to the mission of defending our freedom. As a not-for-profit organization, Friends of U.S. Military Families, Inc., raises funds to support the military community and their families, including those currently serving on active duty, wounded warriors, and organizations providing assistance to veterans. Because of the generous support of our founding affiliate, Grow Financial Credit Union, Friends of Military Families is able to donate the majority of the money it raises to help our heroes in need. Friends of US Military Families, Inc. & Grow Financial Federal Credit Union partnered to Co-sponsor the Children Of Fallen Patriots Golf Tournament at Tampa Palms Country Club where several thousands of dollars were raised.
