When I didn't like the price I was given and said I wanted to think about it, he left and came back with the owner and another guy. There I was with three men sitting in front of me, trying to talk me into a car that I didn't want, and I did not respond well to that kind of pressure. When I left, I felt like the main guy I'd worked with irritated with me for not buying a car...just didn't seem genuine at all. I left feeling discouraged and overwhelmed and not sure where to go next. I almost went to Carmax just because I figured they wouldn't pressure me since the prices are firm, but then I remembered texting with a guy from Fox Toyota and decided to drive up there and see what he could do. I'd texted him about a car I'd seen online the day before and he made a point to text me the next day (when I was planning to go out car shopping) to let me know that it looked like the car had been side-swiped and painted over and he didn't want me coming all the way out there for it. I thought that was super cool and honest of him.I'm so glad I made the drive to Clinton because the guy I texted with, Paul Moore, was just as nice as he seemed via text. He showed me what I wanted and I felt zero pressure to buy. He let me take all the time I needed and also seemed very knowledgeable about cars (even about the Honda I was looking at, which isn't his specialty at a Toyota dealership). Everyone I encountered at Fox Toyota was friendly, personable, and seemed to genuinely be happy to be there. To me, a tell-tale sign of a good company is employees that are treated well and are happy to be at work. The owner even came out and talked to me for awhile, just to say how much he appreciated me coming in (this was after I bought the car so I know he wasn't just trying to get me to buy). The car was very clean already but they detailed the car for me before I left.Just a great experience and I highly recommend Fox Toyota!
