Foundation Christian Academy, Inc., incorporated on May 26, 1992, is a nonprofit organization (DOMNP) based in Valrico, Florida. With its mission deeply rooted in providing a Christ-centered education, FCA offers an academically rigorous curriculum across various disciplines including Language Arts, Math, Science, Social Studies, Spanish, Art, Physical Education, Library, Music, and Theatre. The Academy emphasizes low student-to-teacher ratios, enabling personalized attention and instruction tailored to diverse learning styles. High school students have access to honors courses, Advanced Placement (AP) options, and dual enrollment opportunities, assuming they meet specific academic prerequisites. FCA is committed not only to academic excellence but also to fostering spiritual growth by integrating biblical teachings throughout the educational experience. Founded with a vision that underscores serving others and creating an enriching Christian community, the school engages parents actively through advisory committees such as Parent Advisory Committees (PACs). These committees play vital roles in organizing events like Field Day, Calypso Fest, and the Book Fair, emphasizing parent involvement as crucial for student development. Furthermore, FCA hosts a unique campout experience annually for students and their fathers on campus. The financial sustainability of FCA relies partly on tuition but is significantly supported by donor contributions, which help enhance academic programs and facilities. Looking forward, FCA has ambitious plans to expand its 25-acre campus with the purchase of an additional 18 acres from Bell Shoals Church as part of a Vision 20/20 initiative aimed at future generations.
