By choosing to not accept insurance (except for billing to Medicare), I have more time to spend one-on-one with patients. Rather than typing reports and sending and re-sending records for a review process that never seems to end, I can still continue to help insured patients, by having you file you own claims with the detailed receipt supplied to you at the time of each visit. When I learned that many co-pays are actually more than my average office visit fee, I knew I could go to a cash practice and you, my patient, wouldn’t suffer for it. The benefit to you then is, because I am not party to any insurance provider contract, the services I provide and when I provide then are not restricted in any way. Together, you and I decide what the best course of action for you is, and we follow that path.
