The Story Behind Football Scholarship Academy After being nominated by my peers as a team Captain, going into my Senior year my mission was to bring our storied program back to the State Championship and win it. To my dismay, early that summer our Head Coach informed me that I had to make the move from Wide Receiver/Safety to Quarterback since my teammate slotted for that position decided to not play his Senior year. I was given the ultimatum that I could play wide receiver however we would not be throwing the ball and my talents would be wasted in that position. So, over one Indiana summer and with the help of many former players, I learned how to pass, hand off, and how to execute the entire offense. I never thought twice about what the coaching staff was asking of me (and still don’t) as my complete focus revolved around one thing - winning another state championship. I began searching the internet for something that offered players (and parents) an all in one solution on "How To" get started with this process. Other than paying an expensive recruiting agency, there was very little out there that offered players a comprehensive guide on how to earn a football scholarship. It was at that moment when Football Scholarship Academy was born. Over the past few years, I have immersed myself in the current recruiting process and I'm here to tell you that it starts long before you take your first snap on the High School football field. I wish that I would have had something like this when I was in school to help guide me in the right direction.
