GARRETT'S ALLIGATOR PIT located on popular U.S. 231 just off of I10 heading into among other places Panama City Beach, Pensacola, Tallahassee, Mexico Beach, Port St. Joe just to name a few popular travel destinations became a popular stopping place among travelers.   It didn't take long after Chef Garrett started making and selling Ice Cream by the cone that his customers started asking if they could take some with them, and with that "FLORIDA SNOW ICE CREAM" was born.
