Florida Research Instruments, Inc. is a biomedical research and development company. Florida Research Instruments, Inc. was incorporated in Florida in 2009 by Karl R. Brooks Zurn has her Bachelor’s of Science degree in Electrical Engineering with a Biomedical Engineering option and a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering. She is a PhD Candidate in Electrical Engineering at Virginia Commonwealth University as well as a Research and Development Engineer for Florida Research Instruments, Inc. Technology of Life, LLC develops advanced electronic sensor technologies and systems and also provides design consultation in electronics, integrated circuit design, and mobile system development for biomedical and life sciences. Dr. Herrera has a Ph.D. in Molecular Physiology and Biophysics. His research interests include smooth muscle excitation-contraction coupling, cardiovascular function, physiology of the lower urinary tract, gastrointestinal physiology, as well as learning and memory. Dr. Herrera is the Vice President of Research and Development at Med Associates, and is President of the affiliated company, . Since becoming involved with Med Associates, he has developed a strong in-house research and development program that is rooted in both engineering and the basic sciences. He believes strongly in the importance of maintaining close ties between the development efforts within our company and the current needs of researchers.
