Since 2012, FPR has offered help and hope to 700 women in crisis pregnancies, on-site at local abortion clinics. We do not yell or scream. We offer help. I graduated from the University of Idaho in 1999 with BS degrees in History and Philosophy. As a student, I was involved in organizing projects with Campus Crusade for Christ and Collegiate Reformed Fellowship.  But then it dawned on me. If these gentle souls are only here several times a week, and the clinic is here 40 hours a week, then someone needs to be doing this work, FULL TIME.  That is how FLORIDA PREBORN RESCUE was born. We're here to help you."  Florida Preborn Rescue That said, what has impressed me most about Scott is his desire to see the church awakened to defend the cause of the weak. To this end, Scott regularly teaches classes, training other Christians how to reach out to abortion-minded women in love and give a voice to those who have none. He also helps organize and lead various rallies and prayer events, in which many churches in the area participate in together. In light of this, I am excited to see what God will do through Scott as a full-time sidewalk counselor. Partnering with Scott in his efforts can have an exponential impact on the pro-life cause as Christians are educated and equipped to carry out God's work.  Florida Preborn Rescue Scott J Mahurin is interested in having a debate with a local professor on the abortion issue. Florida Preborn Rescue will provide a cash honorarium for any professor willing to have a 90 minute public debate on the abortion issue with Mr. Mahurin.
