About Us – Florida Insurance Specialties Inc. Florida Insurance Specialties, Inc. (F.I.S.) was founded by E. Joseph Wernle in 1991. We concentrated on Personal Auto coverage for all type of drivers and Florida Tag and Title services. We currently offer not only Personal Auto Coverage and Tag/Title work but also a full line of commercial products including General Liability, Commercial Property, Commercial Auto and Workers' Compensation insurance. in 2011 after relocating back to the South Florida area from Orlando. Ed has been in the insurance business for over 20 years specializing in commercial/business insurance. He has owned and operated both a wholesale insurance business as well as an independent insurance agency in Illinois and Florida. Ed was originally license as a professional insurance agent in Illinois in 1989. He moved from Chicago, Ill., in 2005 to Coconut Creek, Fla. He has built a book of commercial business consisting of auto dealers, auto repair shops, artisan contractors, and manufacturing and office risks.
