Chernea Young is a Paralegal for the Florida Family Law Clinic located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. In 2011, Mrs. Young received her Master’s Degree in Legal Studies from Hodges University and was certified by the Florida Supreme Court as a Family Mediator in 2016. She has over 20 years of legal experience as a Paralegal including working for private Family Law Attorneys in South Florida and State of Florida Child Support Enforcement. Mrs. Young has been a member of the America Bar Association (nonlegal) and Florida Bar (nonlegal) since 2011. In addition, she has been an active State of Florida Notary Public since 1999. Mr. Scott is the Senior Paralegal for the Florida Family Law Clinic. He joined the firm in January, 2014 and has over six years of experience in family law. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of California at Berkeley and graduated Gwen Fajayan joined Florida Family Law Clinic in August 2014. She brightens our office with her beautiful smile and her outstanding interpersonal skills. Her warmth and professionalism are a welcome greeting to our clients and their varied needs. Russ Tyler is a Florida Registered Paralegal and Office Manager for the Florida Family Law Clinic. Mr. Tyler received his Bachelor’s Degree in legal studies from Nova Southeastern University in 2007. He has over 12 years of experience as a paralegal working for Family Law Attorneys in South Florida. Mr. Tyler’s skills and kind, professional demeanor helps to handle clients’ family law cases with knowledge and patience. This is important when dealing with the highly emotional aspects that clients face when going through a divorce or other litigation. Attention to detail coupled with the ability to listen and understand client’s problems that arise make Mr. Tyler an asset to the firm and to client’s that need guidance for family law cases. Mr. Tyler is from a large family with a strong religious background. He is an avid motorcycle rider and musician. He loves the beach and the Florida sun.
