Throughout her career, Sara Mullins had noticed blank corporate walls ripe for art displays. Combining her artistic talent with a head for business, Sara Mullins launched Galleries on the Go in 2013. Galleries on the Go displays artwork in public venues where, with a quick phone call or text from any mobile device, art lovers can purchase their favorite pieces.
Expanding to 10 venues in the Tampa Bay area, Mullins was awarded the SCORE Pinellas Small Business Achievement Award and the SCORE National Encore Entrepreneur Award. But even with these accolades, Mullins was still looking for that one venue that would garner wider exposure for Galleries on the Go artists. Expanding her network through the Florida Business Incubator, Mullins’ Galleries on the Go became the exclusive provider for the Ruth Eckerd Hall galleries. In November, Mullins facilitated “Art on the Bay: Tampa Bay Magazine Covers” featuring cover art collected by Tampa Bay Magazine Editors Aaron Fodiman and Margaret Wood-Burnside.
Today, Mullins continues to seek opportunities to present local artists to the community. “Marketing to the right people is important if you’re going to develop and grow your company to the next level. Florida Business Incubator keeps me involved and connected!” Join Sara and other up-and-coming entrepreneurs at North Pinellas’ premier business incubator—the Florida Business Incubator.
