Florida Bonded Pools is a family-owned business founded in 1957. Esther Williams, and pool industry pioneer, William E. Clarkson worked together for years thinking of creative ways to ensure the longevity of the swimming pool industry. Now Florida Bonded Pools is owned and operated by his son Jeffrey. The Clarkson name has been synonymous with pools for more than 60 years. In 1962, Mr. Clarkson was one of the founding fathers of the Master Pools Guild, now the largest most prestigious pool organizations in the world. Florida Bonded Pools believes in constant re-invention and proudly serves in leadership roles in many Pool Associations and Affiliations – ensuring that every pool we clean in Jacksonville Florida is handled by well trained and knowledgeable swimming pool technicians. Florida Bonded Pools was sold for one year in 2016 and while the initial sale looked to be an amazing opportunity for the company and its employees, it was ultimately unsuccessful. That is when Jeff stepped back in to save his father’s company. While Florida Bonded has had its shares of ups and downs over the last 60 years they have always fought through with a resilience not seen by many companies and I know this is just another test for this great company with an amazing legacy!
