In 1948 Mr. Armanno accompanied by his two sons, Salvatore Armanno and Domenico Armanno, restarted his business. During these years he also added the distinction of becoming the appraiser of the Banco Di Sicilia and Banca D’ Italia. The older of the Armanno siblings, Salvatore, married the daughter of a Italian-American missionary and moved to the United States, where he had a successful career as a watchmaker in Closters, New Jersey. It is here that he established an almost 50 year presence in Satellite Beach. With over 3 generations of customers served he was widely considered the best and most knowledgeable jeweler on the Space Coast. Mr. Armanno passed away in 2013 and his children continue on in his legacy. Nunzio Armanno, Domenico’s son, is now the master goldsmith and jewelry designer.
