FLAIRE CELEBRATIONS, LLC, JACKSONVILLE

Flaire Celebrations was born out of several late-night conversations between mother/daughter duo, Laura and Cassandra. With a desire to establish a premium boutique experience for the discerning shopper who has grown weary of the impersonal big box stores, they have created a gift shop where customers are treated with kindness and personal attention, and where truly unique gifts can be found. Because life is filled with special events, Flaire Celebrations carries gifts to celebrate all those occasions from birthdays, weddings, births and anniversaries, to the everyday moments of life when you want a ‘just-because’ gift to say, “thank you” or “I’m thinking about you.” Gift wrapping is always complimentary with your purchase. More than a gift shop, however, Flaire Celebrations also carries a full line of wedding invitations, favors, and social stationery, as well as paper goods for your next party. The merchandise lines we carry are from a wide range of companies, some representing women entrepreneurs in third world countries, others featuring home-grown (made in the U.S.A.) products. Some of our lines have specific goals such as zoo conservation, some employ special-needs adults, others seek to be environmentally friendly. We carry hand-crafted items specifically created for our shop. We are firm believers in supporting companies that are giving back to their communities. Our retail store is located in Jacksonville, Florida and we hope you will visit us there. But we are also happy to ship the items we carry throughout the U.S.A. Whether this is your first visit, or you’ve been loving our shop for many months now, we want to serve you the best way we can. If you don’t see what you are looking for on the website, contact us! He studies auditory decision-making in rodents: how their brain hears sounds, processes the audio information and determines a behavioral output or action. Electrophysiological recordings and the other traditional tools for addressing such questions left the mathematically inclined scientist unsatisfied. The problem, according to Zador, is that we don’t understand enough about the circuitry of the neurons, which is the reason he pursues his “second job” creating tools for imaging the brain. a Stanford University neuroscientist, an author of the new Nature paper and a former graduate student in Zador’s lab, remarked that doing neuroscience without knowing about the circuitry is like trying to understand how a computer works by looking at it from the outside, sticking an electrode in and probing what we can find. … Without ever knowing the hard drive is connected to the processor and the USB pod provides input to the whole system, it’s difficult to understand what’s happening. In MAPseq, researchers inject an animal with genetically modified viruses that carry a variety of known RNA sequences, or “bar codes.” For a week or more, the viruses multiply inside the animal, filling each neuron with some distinctive combination of those bar codes. When the researchers then cut the brain into sections, the RNA bar codes can help them track individual neurons from slide to slide. Nevertheless, the fact that certain cells do project to specific areas also means that within the visual cortex there are specialized cells that have not yet been identified. Kebschull said this map is like a blueprint that will enable later researchers to understand what these cells are doing. What Tony is doing is looking at the brain in an unbiased way Just as the human genome map has provided a scaffolding to test hypotheses and look for patterns in gene sequence and function, Tony’s method could do the same The detailed map of the human genome didn’t immediately explain all the mysteries of how biology works, but it did provide a biomolecular parts list and open the way for a flood of transformative research. Similarly, in its present state of development, MAPseq cannot provide any information about the function or location of the cells it is tagging or show which cells are talking to one another. I’m hopeful it’s going to provide the scaffolding for the next generation of work in the field. Welcome to Flaire Celebrations, a party & gift boutique! Life is filled with occasions and reasons to celebrate, and we have hundreds of unique gifts and party items to help you make those celebrations special! As you browse our catalog, we hope you’ll find exactly what you’re looking for to give your next event some flair, or delight your gift recipient. Flaire Celebrations
