Robert Douglas Dement is the man who got us started, and our company's namesake. We know him lovingly as Dougie D. Although he has since moved back to his hometown in Illinois, we will always be grateful to him for instilling in us the true virtues of painting, which we refer to as the "Three P's." The Three P's of Painting are Patience, Perseverance, and Pride. Painting takes time, and is but a small part of the job, which begins with preparation and priming. By persevering in our patience, paying close attention to the details of our work, we can confidently guarantee ourselves a satisfactory result upon completion, and if we can satisfy ourselves in our work as professionals, surely we will exceed our customer's expectations. It is our ambition to add value in everything that we do, and this includes our interactions with our fellows. In fact, this aspect of our business is the most important to us. Paint will always fade, giving way to a need for more. Drywall can be patched, moldings can be caulked, but our attitude and actions toward our fellows will be remembered forever.
