James Lee, Fitness is Life with Lee Creator James Lee, was born and raised in the river city of Jacksonville, Florida. He received his BS in Accounting from Miles College in 2000, where he served as drum major and lead dance choreographer in the “Purple Marching Machine Band” as well as a Member and past President of Kappa Kappa Psi National Honorary Band Fraternity. James began dancing at the age of 3, and always knew that his passion for dance and fitness would eventually become the driving force behind his career path. James is an accomplished accountant, but his love for developing life changing health and fitness routines won’t let him give it up. James’ fitness credentialing and accomplishments include certification as a Group Trainer via the YMCA and co-owner of D&J Power Fitness. You can also find James, aka DJ Semaj igniting the dance floor as he spins records and lead line dancing via group classes, community events, school pep rallies and much, much more…. In the 90’s James was even featured busting dance moves in a Kid and Play music video. James is a long-time member of Open Arms Christian Fellowship, where he also serves as Director of Sound/Media. James is a naturally gifted and creative soul, but he does not allow that to stop him from being an amazing father to pre-teen son, James Lee, Jr. Don’t delay… Get ready to positively change your life for the long haul with “Fitness is Life with Lee” series of workout routines. I started working back out, while developing this program, in 2012 at 235 lbs. It began with a free community group class. I ended up losing 50lbs in the process. With the increased weight, I started experiencing extreme knee problems during stair climbing, playing with my son and normal every day activities. I went from a size 42 to 34 and by doing so, it increased my health, endurance, stamina, reduced blood pressure and decreased my chances of a diabetic. By maintaining this God given routine workout, I have kept the weight off for 6 years straight which is the reason I brought this Fitness is Life with Lee program to the world…to H.E.A.L. other peoples lives like God has helped me H.E.A.L. mine.
