Fish Heads of Stuart (a.k.a. Fish Heads to the locals) is a family owned and operated small business located in Stuart, Florida, Sailfish Capital of the World.  While our Sailfish fisheries tends to get all the recognition and press, Stuart is also home to arguably one of the best inshore fisheries anywhere in the US.  It truly is an Angler's Paradise.   At Fish Heads, our focus and goal is to service the Tackle Needs of our Customers.  With over 30 years of experience in the Fishing Tackle Industry, we have the knowledge-base, resources and industry contacts to help you perform better on the water. Whether rigging up for the first time, in search of some friendly advice or a fishing report, Fish Heads of Stuart is here for you. We offer Professional Rigging Services, Reel & Rod Repair, and are adept at sourcing hard to find tackle. Our physical store overlooks one of the prettiest marinas along the Atlantic, Sailfish Marina of Stuart, and is conveniently located near the mouth of the Manatee Pocket, minutes to the St. Lucie Inlet.  Fish Heads of Stuart is accessible by both land and sea.  If arriving by boat, a large floating dock is literally steps away from our front door or if fueling at Sailfish Marina, we are an easy stroll down the dock.  Via the road, we have ample parking, and our parking lot is trailer friendly with an easy turnaround.   Since we opened our doors back in February of 2012, we have often been asked how did we come up with the name "Fish Heads".  Long story short… our roots go back to Long Beach Island, New Jersey. On Long Beach Island, there is s tackle store, Fisherman's Headquarters, known to the locals as "Fish Heads". Having worked there for a decade before jumping over to the Manufacturing and then Distribution side of the Tackle Industry, we have always maintained a close relationship with the owner of Fisherman's Headquarters and his family, and to be honest much of what was learned about running a tackle shop.  When the opportunity came along to open up our own Tackle Store, we racked our brains for names…Stuart Fishermen, Fishing Center of Stuart...none of which felt right.  And, then it hit us…Fish Heads of Stuart.  We called the owner of Fisherman's Headquarters, got his blessing and hit the ground running.  Fisherman's Headquarters is still up and running today and if ever up in the NJ area, I'm sure the "Fish Heads" crew on Long Beach Island would love to see you.   Thank you for reviewing our policies regarding any personal information you may choose to provide at our website.
