I’ve worked in the hospitality business since I was sixteen years old. I worked at hotels as the front desk agent, as well as a PBX operator, and I even dabbled in housekeeping. Then a friend told me she was going to go work for Disney and I found myself asking why I had never thought of going to work for Disney when I had lived in Florida most of my life.
From working at Disney, I learned even more about providing outstanding customer service and I enjoyed watching the guests get their pictures taken by Disney photographers, and seeing all of the brides and grooms getting their pictures taken in Magic Kingdom. But it was my camping trip to North Carolina that truly sparked my interest in starting my photography business. I went there to enjoy a nice vacation and take some pictures of the mountains and came home with some amazing shots. It was that moment that I decided that I wanted to become a photographer.
