Our Mission The mission of Fighting For Children (FFC) is to create, find and support programs that directly improve the health and wellbeing of children. We recruit amateur and professional Martial Artists with strong family values who respectively and actively endorse children in need and become a voice for them. Our mission is to give athletes a purpose and give children a hero. When fighters compete they are literally Fighting For Children. The core values of our organization include: Fighting For Children strives to be part of the solution in improving the lives of children and their families, providing assistance and opportunities that strengthen families during difficult times. Master Mehrdad K. Moayedi serves as Chairman of MKM®. He brings over 40 years of Martial Arts experience to the organization, as well as over twenty five years of business management expertise. Master Mehrdad opened his first Martial Arts Dojo in 1992 and now owns and operates a highly successful Martial Arts & Fight Training camp for high profile fighters in Clearwater, FL. Some of those fighters include Matt “The Hammer” Hamill, current UFC fighter. He managed fights deal for fighters such as: Gary Turner, 10 time European Champion; Rick “The Jet” Roufus, 6 time World Champion; Remy Bonnell, French Muay Thai Champion; and Clifton Brown, ranked #1 World Muay Thai Champion, and more. Master Mehrdad founded Shin Do Kumaté® Style of Fighting and established MKM Knockout Promotions, LLC in January 2002 and became the first promoter in history to sanction a professional fight outside of Boxing in the State of Florida with the Florida State Boxing and Athletic Commission. In 2005, the State of Florida appointed his organization WSDKA an official sanctioning/governing body to oversee amateur kickboxing and Muay Thai events. As a respected business owner and a global fight industry expert with an uncanny ability to match fighters, Master Mehrdad understands the sports and entertainment industry at a level that supersedes most fight promoters.
