We believe that every community has it’s share of makers that just need access to the right tools, training, and assistance to create the next innovative product. Fellowship Factory is a nonprofit organization that provides over 45,000 square feet of makerspace, collaborative office space, and retail space in the home of some of history’s greatest inventors. We combine manufacturing equipment, community, and education for the purposes of enabling community members to design, prototype and create manufactured works that wouldn’t be possible to create with the resources available to individuals working alone. Fellowship Factory is in the process of restoring and repurposing over 45,000 square feet of historic building space on the Talladega Square. Our initial project includes the historic Chamber’s Opera House and the Goldberg & Lewis buildings. These are two of the most prominent landmarks on the city square and will be the catalyst for positive change in the Talladega Community. We are looking for volunteers and donations to help us reach our goal of creating a space for people to learn, create, build businesses, and sell their merchandise. In addition, we sponsor robotics, healthcare technology, and medical device design programs with local schools.
