With over 20 years’ experience in the travel/cruise industry, Sylvia St.Lawrence has a passion for and significant expertise in, cruise travel, particularly luxury cruise travel. Sylvia started in 1993, selling cruise and Disney land packages at Premier Cruises Lines in Cape Canaveral, FL . After spending over 7 ½ years with the company, Sylvia moved to Miami began working for American Classic Voyages selling cruises in Hawaii and the islands. When the company closed, Sylvia spent 3 years working for a cruise-only travel agency. She was then offered a management position with one of the most luxurious cruise lines, Regent Seven Seas where she started as a manager and progressed to director of international sales (Caribbean/Latin America). Sylvia was also given the responsibility of selling a second luxury brand – Oceania Cruises. Spending her last 8 years with Regent/Oceania, Sylvia experienced a multitude of different cruise and port experiences and got to interact with some of the top travel agencies and direct consumers in the Americas. Sylvia’s sales techniques were instrumental in increasing her territories’ revenues by 20% per year. Additionally, Sylvia’s webinars and office visits were prized by many travel agencies as being instrumental in teaching their agents group sales, marketing and other sales techniques.
