In 2001 Robert Holloway became the owner of a fresh seafood retail and wholesale market. He named the business Fanci Seafood after his beloved dog “Fanci.” Retired from the Coast Guard he decided to become a commercial fisherman and was dedicated to extending his knowledge to the fishing industry. His wife, Monica, lends a helping hand in every aspect of the business.We have over 12 years combined experience in seafood wholesale and retail sales. Fanci Seafood has offered the freshest seafood brought to you from the local fishermen at affordable prices. We sponsors many of the local businesses by suppling ice, fish and bait for their functions. They have also provided help with activities of the Florida Keys Commercial Fishermen’s Association and are members of Fresh From Florida. In June of 2012 the business was relocated to The staff here is very friendly and knowledgeable. They will help you with almost any question you might have about the fish we offer or they will find the answer. At the new location we opened a tackle shop to assist you with your fishing needs. Bulk ice is available and we also carry a fine line of bait and chum so you can “catch the big one” .
