I founded Family Formers with the heartfelt compassion to help couples and donors understand the process of choosing an egg donor. As a mother of twins conceived through egg donation and a gestational carrier, I understand first hand the emotional complexities of creating a family through this journey. Choosing an egg donor will ultimately be one of the most important decisions you will ever make. My passion is to guide couples and donors through this experience without making the wrong choices, that can happen if not well informed. I know this from my own personal journey. We are all committed to supporting and helping you through the entire process both personally and professionally. My husband and I struggled with infertility, miscarriage and many treatments for 3 ½ years before getting pregnant through IVF with our twins, Samuel and Ivan. Our experience with IVF has been nothing short of a miracle. Although we only transferred one embryo, at our first ultrasound we discovered that we were having identical twins. We were shocked by this news but also thrilled to know that we were doubly blessed. Family Formers was born out of our desire to educate intended parents through their particular journeys to parenthood and provide the emotional support that sometimes agencies lack. My goal is to be there every step of the way to help make those dreams of becoming a parent a reality for you. We provide independent, straight-forward information regarding the challenges and successes of the egg donation and surrogacy process. We are a private search company that specializes in finding healthy, well-educated, and beautiful donors. Our gestational carriers are kind, compassionate, and are committed to our intended parents dreams of starting a family. We listen and learn about each couple’s unique situation, hopes, and expectations of starting a family. Often times, intended parents are overwhelmed by the decisions that must be made and coordination of all professionals involved in the egg donation and surrogacy process. Family Formers breaks down the vital information in selecting an egg donor into practical and manageable steps so intended parents can make informed decisions. We can offer the expertise, understanding, and emotional support based on our own personal fertility journeys. We work closely with South Florida’s most experienced fertility specialists, IVF nurse coordinators, reproductive law experts, and other highly qualified professionals to set achievable goals with realistic expectations. Throughout the process both you, donor, and surrogate (if needed) will be guided by our directors.
