FAB 208 NYC was opened in 1992 in NYC's East Village by husband and wife team Jo Custance-Smith and Alan Smith. Nothing sells at FAB for more than $120 which is something they are very proud of being able to offer, not something you find very rarely today for USA handmade items. Prices range from $20 for handmade unique jewelry items up to $120 for perfect fit dresses that stand the test of time in both design and construction. Another aspect of FAB 208 NYC is there screen printed product line that focuses on raising awareness for animal adoption from shelters and the importance of educating people about overpopulation. All these original hand printed products have their profits donated to small rescue groups trying to make a difference in the area. Several thousand dollars are donated each year from this product line. After 23 yrs years an NYC retailers, Jo and Alan decided to move to a warmer climate and relocated to Jacksonville Florida.
