She currently earned an MBA and a BBA in accounting and finance from Florida Atlantic University. The early days of her interest in these areas started with her interactions with entrepreneurial parenting. Her mother and father were business owners in St. James, Jamaica, W.I., and she was the exchequer since the tender age of 3yrs old. She continued through high school and college pursuing specializations in business studies. Jennifer has earned many top awards in high school and college in the business and accounting arena. Jennifer started her accounting career right after high school in Jamaica, W.I. She was an accountant of a prominent architectural firm in St. Andrew, Jamaica and the CFO for several privately owned duty-free stores in Montego-Bay and Ocho Rios, Jamaica. She worked as an assistant CFO and accountant in New York prior to relocating to South Florida. In Florida, Jennifer built and managed a tax and accounting business that she grew exponentially by 300% during the 2008 recession. She is currently a salaried professional accountant with a Fortune 1000 company where she specializes in the reconstruction, of accounting record, optimization and re-implementation of mismanaged accounting records, and accounting information systems implementation for starts up and established businesses.
