That first chamber has evolved into a full line of chambers offered by Infiltrator. Infiltrator continued to grow with the industry as the need for products to serve even more specialized and demanding applications expanded. Today, Infiltrator offers additional septic products such as ATL and EZflow, engineered geosynthetic aggregate leachfield technologies. Innovations in manufacturing expanded the possibilities for plastic tanks that are stronger and lighter than concrete, offering ease of transport and installation. Infiltrator Water Technologies manufactures and sells multiple product lines that meet stringent environmental and regulatory requirements for decentralized wastewater and water systems. The Infiltrator team built three of the world’s largest injection molding machines in-house which produce a number of the largest injection molded parts in the world. Through its subsidiary Champion Polymer Recycling, Infiltrator is a leader in the use of “green materials” including post-consumer and post-industrial recycled plastics for the manufacture of products at their ISO 9001 registered manufacturing facility in Winchester, KY. When they finished up the leach field replacement Jim told to Sid Holbrook, the contractor, “We could probably come up with something better in plastic.” Sid agreed and told Jim when he was serious about it that he’d help him raise money to give it a try. In 1987 Infiltrator Systems entered the market selling the Infiltrator chamber system as an alternative to the decades-old traditional gravel and pipe leach field. The key differentiator that the Infiltrator chamber system brought to the market was that contractors could install a complete system in half the time of a gravel and pipe leach field. Contractors quickly bought into the concept. For the first year in business they predicted a loss, instead Infiltrator Systems made an $80,000 profit, selling more than 30,000 Infiltrator chambers. In 2015 Infiltrator Systems became Infiltrator Water Technologies to more accurately describe the company’s offerings beyond the onsite wastewater industry. Today Infiltrator manufactures and sells multiple product lines for the onsite wastewater and water industry. With innovative products and service, ISO-9001 certified manufacturing facilities, leading creative recycling solutions and the development of new subsidiaries, Infiltrator is poised to offer a total approach to water quality. Our future lies in a global effort to identify and develop new technologies that improve water quality and wastewater management worldwide. Everyday, Champion Polymer Recycling, the recycling division of Infiltrator Water Technologies, purchases and processes plastic scrap for use in the production of Infiltrator products.  As one of the top plastic recyclers in North America, we put millions of pounds of scrap polyolefin and polystyrene resins to use in our environmentally-friendly products each year. An Environmentally Concerned Company Infiltrator Water Technologies’ efforts to fund university research have allowed for a much better understanding of the long-term performance of onsite wastewater systems. Over the years, we have funded more private-sector onsite wastewater research projects than any other company nationwide. Roy Moore is responsible for overall corporate management of Infiltrator. He has been with Infiltrator since 1987. Before moving into the CEO position, he led the company’s manufacturing operations including the molding and recycling divisions. During this time, Roy was responsible for the development of several advanced primary and secondary molding processes, as well as the company's recycling capabilities. He also led the development of the company's very successful Quick4 product line of chambers. Roy has headed up, at various times, Sales, Marketing, Engineering, R&D and Government Affairs. Prior to joining the company, Roy led the manufacturing operations of a major building products supplier. He has specialized in the molding of plastic products since 1979. Roy attended Georgia Tech, majoring in Industrial Management with course work in Civil Engineering.
