Enrichment classes vary throughout the year so please check our schedule as new classes are always being added. All of our EYS staff members have satisfied their level two federal background screening and CPR certification. You can rest assured your children are in good hands. Coach Carla grew up in Pasco County & attended Trinity Elementary school. In her middle school years she attended public school part time, took on line classes through Florida Virtual, & competed heavily with Tampa Bay Skating Club. She spent her high school years balancing her business academy, on line school, & national figure skating while maintaining a 3.98 GPA. Starting at Miami University of Ohio & skating for their team Carla was a pre law major who quickly realized her purpose in life was to work with children. She quickly returned to her roots & changed her major to Elementary Education. Carla will be graduating from USF in May of 2019 with aspirations of teaching for Hillsborough County Schools. Coach Shaun has lived in the Northdale area for over 25 years. He attended Gaither HS and HCC. He has studied various martial art styles over the last 12 years including: Wing Chun, Choy-li-Fut, Southern Shaolin kung fu, kickboxing, Juijitsu, Taekwondo, and wrestling. With the philosophy of “always a student”, Coach Shaun found his professional calling in child mentoring. With 6+ years in the childcare industry, a great team, and his amazing family at his side, Coach Shaun stands ready to continue the amazing legacy established by EYS! We Are The Best! Coach Jacalyn grew up right here in Northdale. She attended Claywell, Ben Hill, Gaither, & then USF where she received her Bachelors in Early Childhood Education. Since graduating from USF, Jacalyn has owned two competitive cheer gyms who won numerous national titles. After selling Cheer Champs Allstars, Jacalyn grew her cheer competition company to the national circuit. CCE, Cheer Champion Express hosted cheer and dance competitions nationwide. She is a certified Florida teacher and has taught periodically in the Hillsborough County School System. A lifelong member of Northdale, a member of Grace Family Church, devoted wife and mother of two beautiful children, Jacalyn is excited to join the EYS team. Devin was born and raised in the Tampa area. He has been involved in cheerleading since 1999 and has been coaching on and off since 2001. Devin is a United States Marine, an NRA certified pistol instructor, a 9 year veteran of Universal Cheerleaders Association Florida Staff, a business owner and a single father of two amazing children, Tristan and Makenna. When he is not here coaching on Wednesday evenings, Devin is working as a security contractor for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, running his Pet Sitting business or being a Daddy to his own children and Golden Retrievers. EYS, Extreme Youth Sports & Enrichment Center is a place for the children of North Tampa to grow and develop their natural gifts, talents, and purpose. We provide a wide range of sports and enrichment classes that enhance the lives of the children in our area. During the school year we offer our all access sport pass with complimentary school pick up at our neighboring schools or community clases after 6:00 pm for those outside of our pick up zone. In the summer we offer a full day camp from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm. Each week is fulll of sports and fun! We have a new theme each week and an optional coordinating field trip. One of our favorite themes is sports week where we offer a trip to the Raymond James Stadium. Another favorite is entrepreneurship week where we bring in business owners to enlighten children about their future career opportunities. Come spend one week or a whole summer with us! Our location provides a one-stop-shop for parents looking for afternoon or evening sports and enrichment activities. We are a non-competitive program with the goal of promoting self esteem, community, physical fitness and brain development.
