Become a partner in ministry with The Expositors Seminary
The Expositors Seminary is funded largely by the generosity of local churches and ministry partners. This allows us to keep our tuition affordable for our students, many of whom are balancing the responsibilities of family and employment along with their studies.
The Expositors Seminary is located on nine simultaneously connected church campuses. Faithful and proven pastors, teachers, and leaders from all nine churches unite to provide the student with an education that combines informed scholarship with pastoral mentoring.
Knowing that a biblical philosophy of ministry is critical to a local church’s spiritual health, we train our graduates to skillfully apply biblical truth to the needs of the body of Christ. To that end, each student will be challenged in the practice of the following:
Students will be involved in personal discipleship with mentors who will help them apply biblical principles in the role of pastoral leadership. Through experience and evaluation, the students will cultivate their ability to work through pastoral challenges. Students will be encouraged in the discipline of prayer and alerted to the various dangers that arise from its neglect.
We provide ministry training with an unswerving commitment to the Scriptures as absolute truth which can be known with certainty. We understand that all spiritual growth occurs exclusively by the agency of the Holy Spirit through the understanding and application of God’s Word. Therefore, central to our training is the accurate and passionate explication and corresponding exhortation of Scripture.
The purpose of The Expositors Seminary is to magnify the glory of God by serving the local church through training, equipping, mentoring, and affirming men who are called by the Lord Jesus Christ into the ministry of the gospel.
Mission
Our purpose is accomplished through an educational program within an environment of spiritual fellowship that emphasizes an unreserved commitment to the worship of God, the authority of Holy Scripture, the pursuit of personal holiness, the priority of the local church, and the mission of penetrating the world with God’s truth.
The vision of The Expositors Seminary is to provide a theological education based on rigorous exegesis which is presuppositionally rooted and unswervingly committed to the inerrancy, authority, sufficiency, and practicality of the Bible. Such a commitment to biblical exegesis engenders a God-centered theology and sound training methods for gospel ministry. Churches led by men trained in this manner will base their theology firmly on God’s Word, resulting in ministry philosophies that faithfully manifest Christ in the church and the world. Eschewing contemporary trends, TES trains its students with essentially the same core curriculum that historically has marked conservative, evangelical theological education in America.
Each church campus provides a resource center for the student which includes primary reference volumes for biblical research, periodicals, and exceptional access to online libraries. Students are given access to online theological journals, a digitized library containing thousands of searchable, journals and articles.
These Scriptures constitute God’s special revelation to mankind. They are God-breathed (2 Timothy 3:16), and thereby, are absolutely inerrant and infallible in the original documents (i.e. the autographic originals). Like the Living Word of God, i.e., Christ, the written Word of God is fully divine and yet, genuinely human. The Holy Spirit guided the writings of the human authors through their personalities, backgrounds, and styles (e.g. Jeremiah 1:5; Galatians 1:15-17) resulting in the production of God’s book, the Bible (2 Peter 1:20-21).
Although we do not have in our possession the original documents, God in His providence has preserved thousands of subsequent copies which perpetuate the Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek texts of the Bible. Therefore, through the methodology of textual criticism, it is possible to reconstruct texts which accurately reflect the original documents.

Associate Pastor, Mission Road Bible Church
The Expositors Seminary began as a shared dream of several men who were engaged in ministries in the state of Florida. In the spring of 2005 Ken Fuller, the executive director of The Believer’s Foundation, called a meeting of local church pastors and elders from various locations throughout the state. This meeting resulted in a great deal of excitement and support for the establishment of a new seminary. In subsequent meetings throughout the summer and fall of that year a seminary name was chosen, as well as a governing board. Articles of incorporation and bylaws were approved and on November 8, 2005 The Expositors Seminary came formally into existence.
TES officially launched its training with classes on August 28, 2007. Ten students would constitute the first cohort of The Expositors Seminary. The following evening Dr. John MacArthur delivered a powerful message at our first Convocation addressing the students and congregations of all four campus churches.
