Exotic Botanicals started in November of 1980 with one acre of production in Miami-Dade County. As a pioneer of the color revolution in garden centers and the foliage industry, EBI was one of the very first to experiment with hibiscus and other tropical plants. Producing many of the native Hawaiian, South American and European varieties, EBI was able to develop a market that was truly unique for its time. Throughout the years our nursery has grown to 70 acres specializing not only in colorful hibiscus, mandevilla and gardenia but also a complete line of household palms and tropical ferns.
