Mission Statement     The mission of Every Birthday Matters is to provide birthday parties to foster children living in group homes and homeless children living in shelters in Florida's Suncoast Region so they can experience the joy that comes with celebrating their special day. We will fulfill this mission by providing these parties at no cost to the facility, child, or family through donations from the local community and careful planning and implementation by volunteers.     Every Birthday Matters is incorporated with the State of Florida as a non-profit organization and we are an approved 501(c)(3) charity. Welcome to Every Birthday Matters When we praise a child and show them how much we appreciate who they are and what they do it helps to build up their self-esteem, which is exactly the purpose of a birthday party. It's a celebration of the child. Self-esteem is critical to a child's ability to develop and learn successfully. How does Every Birthday Matters help? Children who are living in group homes or homeless shelters may not have the financial or family resources for a birthday party. Their birthdays will pass with little or no celebration.
