After the Rio 2016 Olympic & Paralympic Summer Games, ETS provided transportation management for Team USA's Awards Show, White House visit with the President of the United States and its ACE Summit. ETS worked closely with the U.S. Olympic Committee, Washington Metro Airport Authority (Dulles & Reagan National Airports), local transport vendors, U.S. Homeland Security, U.S. Transportation Security Administration, U.S. Secret Service and White House staff on the movement of Team USA athletes, coaches and officials around the Washington, DC metro area and to the White House for their events. Event Transport Solutions was contracted by the USOC to serve as its Transportation consultant for its USA Rio 2016 Team Processing in Houston, Texas. Prior to each Olympic & Paralympic Team's travels to Rio they first flew into Houston where ETS provided Arrivals & Departures planning in transporting Team USA athletes from Houston-Bush International Airport to their processing center in Downtown Houston. Each day over 30-70 athletes over a two week span for the Olympics athletes and 10 days for the Paralympic athletes, ETS coordinated transportation operations for the athletes, coaches and officials. In addition ETS, worked closely with the Houston Airport Authority, Houston Sports Authority, U.S. Homeland Security, U.S. Federal Air Marshall Service, U.S. Transportation Security Administration and United Airlines to coordinate each day's departures from Houston to Rio de Janeiro.
