NOW...A LITTLE BACKSTORY ABOUT Eudeena Ruth: It's been approximately 2 1/2 years since I began my journey into Paganism. Oh, I dabbled a little as a teen because I felt something growing inside even back then but didn't have anyone to help me understand it. With that said, growing up with the Southern Baptist mentality, I had questions that I couldn't get complete answers to. I began to wonder about my upbringing, and doubted my beliefs. Every answer that I needed, was not in the Bible. This is how I ended up choosing the Pagan path. Yes, there were hard questions that I could not find answers to. I was not a scientist but I got more answers through science, than anywhere. Now, I am certainly not saying that God does not exist. And I am also not saying that I don't believe in His higher power. I am just saying that I don't believe that this certain belief is all that there is. There are as many non-Christians that I have met that have the same, deep connection with their deities, as any conforming Christian has with Jesus Christ. I also do not believe in Hypocrisy...and I have surely seen a lot of that going around. Preaching about the Good Book and the Golden Rules, and then doing many of the things they were preaching against. I had been feeling spiritually dead, and completely isolated from my friends in the church. Living their lives, I found that no one cared enough to help me. No matter how much I tried, I could not feel comfortable in the midst of all of the politics, and conformity. I needed to be free. I needed more. Welcome to our website.
