A certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor (Desktop, Online, & Enterprise) with over two (2) decades of Accounting experience, Dawn specializes in corporate and small-business bookkeeping and performs the duties of CFO for many clients. Dawn founded EBS in 2008 and has recruited top talent from Jacksonville and the surrounding counties to service EBS clients. Dawn understands that small business owners do not have time to focus on their corporate accounting, and EBS arose out of that need. Many small business owners do not need a full-time bookkeeper, and this is where our services become essential. Many small business owners try to accomplish bookkeeping tasks in their spare time or procrastinate until it’s tax time (and then pay a large bill to their CPA). With Essential Bookkeeping Solutions (EBS), small business owners can focus on their business and not on their bookkeeping. Jamie joined Essential Bookkeeping Solutions (EBS) in May 2013. Prior to joining our team, she worked for St. Vincent’s hospital in Jacksonville as an administrative assistant, where her interest in business accounting began. Jamie is a certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor. She plans on continuing her education for her accounting degree. Jamie specializes in full charge bookkeeping, payroll services and accounts payable. She spends her free time raising her 3-year-old daughter and enjoying the quiet country life. Before joining Essential Bookkeeping Solutions (EBS) in April, 2017, Cynthia gained experience in business continuity planning, technical writing, and cost accounting. She supplemented her Accounting degree with the Certified Management Accounting (CMA) credential. Valerie has spent over 25 years as a senior business accountant in a variety of industries, including manufacturing, network marketing, property management, & healthcare. She has also served as a compliance and regulatory accountant as well as a treasury manager. Valerie holds a BS in Business Administration Growing up a very math oriented person, Lib has been involved in the accounting/bookkeeping industry her entire working career. She began in the banking industry in upstate New York and then worked her way over to small business bookkeeping. A short stint at Xerox Corporation taught her that she much preferred small business where you get the whole picture of a company versus just a small portion of expertise. Much of her education came from valued time spent working for accounting firms, bringing their small business clients up to date. In the mid-1980s through 2003, she was employed by her home-town Chamber of Commerce – working her way up from assistant to the VP Finance to being Director of Finance.
