Meet the executive team: Scott Mingee has over 20 years of experience in the health care industry. As CEO of Equian, Mr. Mingee will lead the company through a time of unprecedented change in healthcare. Prior to becoming CEO for Equian, Scott worked for Xerox/ACS. In his last post he was the group president for the Provider line of business. In this capacity, he was responsible for multiple lines of business that included consulting, analytics, IT outsourcing, and learning management. Prior to this role, he served as SVP of the Payer line of business. During his tenure this group diversified their service offerings and experienced outstanding growth—more than tripling the top line. Before joining Xerox, Mr. Mingee held CIO and CTO positions at payer-based company Outsourced Administrative Systems, and prior to that a variety of positions within the Anthem family of companies. Scott’s background and skills make him a natural fit as the CEO of Equian. He is knowledgeable about the healthcare market and has a deep track record developing and executing a strategic vision. Rob Bader came to Trover Solutions in 1998 as Senior Vice President of Business Development. From 1999 to 2002, he was Executive Vice President of Overpayment Operations and then Executive Vice President of Healthcare Sales and Client Solutions from 2002 to 2006. Business First of Louisville has recognized Rob Bader three times as among the Greater Louisville region’s “Leaders in Healthcare.” Mike Morrison serves as chief revenue officer overseeing sales, marketing, business development, account management, and emerging markets initiatives. Prior to joining Equian, Mr. Morrison served as senior vice president of the Commercial BPO for Xerox. During his tenure at Xerox, Mr. Morrison grew accounts from basic transaction processing into successful partnerships that now encompass the entire end-to-end healthcare BPO suite of services. Mr. Morrison brings unparalleled insight and focus to his management and business development responsibilities, continually pursuing innovative growth strategies and solutions for our clients. True to his never-ending drive for excellence, Morrison is a nine-time President’s Club recipient. He earned a Bachelor’s of Business degree in Management Information Systems from Ohio University. Shankar Narayanan has over 17 years of experience in the healthcare industry. As Chief Operating Officer, Shankar has responsibility for operations, technology, integration, and business performance management at Equian. Prior to joining Equian, Shankar was the Global Head of the Life Sciences Business unit at Cognizant. In this capacity he owned market development, client relationships, strategy, and M&A and integration across all lines of service. During his tenure Shankar grew the business by over 50% successfully returning the business to industry leading growth and delivered on a substantial margin improvement program while integrating acquisitions and building out several innovative product platforms. At Cognizant, Shankar was a member of the Executive Leadership Team. Prior to Cognizant, Shankar was a Partner at McKinsey & Company. At the Firm he built new businesses, and worked extensively on strategy, M&A, merger integration, and operational excellence engagements for healthcare, life sciences, technology/business services clients and financial investors. He was recognized as a highly collaborative and structured problem solver, inclusive people leader, an entrepreneur, and an organization builder. Mr. Martin joined Equian in 2008 to lead all aspects of the company’s financial structure and strategy. He brings with him more than 20 years of fiscal and operational management, with a strong focus in M&A and corporate finance for both Private and PE-backed companies. Previously, Mr. Martin was with a national accounting and consulting firm serving as an advisor for the financial services sector on corporate finance strategies. His experience also includes financial positions with a nationally-ranked real estate company providing guidance on capital strategies to support expansion opportunities. Mr. Martin is a graduate of Purdue University and a former CPA in the State of Indiana. In 2015, he was recognized as a CFO of the Year honoree by the Indianapolis Business Journal. Daniel Gibson came to work at Trover as the Senior Staff Attorney in 1997. He served as Trover’s Director of Legal Support Operations in 1998 and then Director of Litigation Specialists in 1999. He was named Senior Vice President and General Counsel in 2006 and became Managing Partner of Gibson & Sharps, PSC, one of the nation’s largest law firms dedicated exclusively to subrogation. In his current position as Chief Administrative Officer, Gibson oversees the management of corporate law, human resources, facilities, training, talent development, compliance and quality assurance, and mass tort and other operational legal resources. Richard (Rick) Fitzgerald is Equian’s Executive Vice President of Technology and Procurement and Chief Information Officer. He is responsible for all aspects of the organization’s product development, technology operations and procurement functions.
