DBA EC Model & Talent Agency was founded in 1991 by Sean McCabe, a seasoned veteran in the corporate entertainment industry. Sean is familiar with both sides of the stage as a guitarist, emcee, DJ, producer, stage manager and technician. Entertainment Caterers has been working with the top hotels, resorts and convention centers in Orlando; along with the top venues and casinos up and down the Las Vegas Strip for nearly 30 years. We have the connections you need to succeed! Sean McCabe starts a Florida Sole Proprietorship, DBA Entertainment Caterers. EC is born! Entertainment Caterers opens Offices at 27 Fremont Ave in Daytona Beach, providing Mobile Disc Jockey Services, and 24-Track Digital Recording Services out of EC Recording Studio. Pictured above is our first “Real” Office & Production Facility–Offices on left and Warehouse on right Entertainment Caterers expands its markets statewide to include Variety Acts in addition to Mobile Disc Jockeys and Live Bands. Entertainment Caterers moves its Offices to a private loft in Orlando, Florida in an attempt to break into the Major Theme Park, Hotel and Resort markets. Aggressive talent recruiting and advertising follows. Word-of-Mouth ensues and the EC Talent Roster begins growing exponentially. Entertainment Caterers Incorporates, and opens up 3,000 sq. ft. Corporate Offices and Warehouse at 600 N Highway 17-92 in Longwood, Florida. By now, in addition to our humble beginnings as a Mobile Disc Jockey Service, we have added Live Bands, Musicians, Variety Acts, AVL Production and more… but we are only just getting started! Our 1998 Ford Econoline 150 Company Cargo Van Entertainment Caterers, Inc. becomes a Licensed and Bonded Florida State Talent Agency, TA#682 and moves its Corporate Offices and Warehouse to a much larger 5,000 sq. ft. facility at 8018 Sunport Drive, Ste. 203 in Orlando, Florida. Entertainment Caterers, Inc. rebrands itself with a new DBA–EC Model & Talent Agency, to reflect the formal addition of its new Modeling Division. EC Model & Talent Agency expands services once again, to include Cirque Acts and Cirque Productions. Sean McCabe expands operations overseas, sets up International Branch Office and takes up residence in Bangkok, Thailand as a hub to Contracted Production Shows in Bangkok, Beijing, Hong Kong, Singapore and developing AEC/ASEAN Accounts. Sean McCabe and Team develops, hones and refines Virtual Talent Agency Representation and Management techniques, in the form of SaaS, CRM Systems and Company Intranet accessible to Talent, Agents and Clients-alike, to put Entertainment Caterers, Inc. (EC Model & Talent Agency) at the forefront of Talent/Agent/Client-based Virtual IT Systems; thereby opening the door to not only improved domestic business relationships, but international performance and management opportunities as well. One of the many Virtual Systems we now utilize includes a Company Intranet and CRM to make working with our international talent and clients a breeze We can help you with any event We hired EC to provide models for us at the CES Show in Las Vegas.
