English Ironworks was founded in 1993. From modest beginnings working out of a shed in the yard of another business, they quickly moved on, into a workshop on Central Avenue. In 2001, English Ironworks moved to a plot of land big enough to accomodate the growing business and built a new workshop. English Ironworks prides itself on the quality of its work and its reputation for reliability. Frank Southern is the owner operator of English Ironworks. Originally from Great Britain, he served an apprenticeship in fabrication welding before enlisting in the British army.
