Andy Nichols serves as Chief Operating Officer of Encore Event Technologies. He is primarily responsible for leading the organization’s hotel event technologies and audiovisual sales and service offerings. Andy has been instrumental in the growth of the industry of hotel outsourced audiovisual and technology services since 1981. As one of the original employees with Atlanta-based Total Audio Visual Services, Inc. (TAVS), Andy remained with the company in various executive level sales and operational roles through mergers and acquisitions with GE Capital/Technology Management Services, Caribiner Communications and Audio Visual Services Corporation. Andy has extensive experience overseeing major national hotel accounts, national sales/marketing initiatives, and the management of operations at all organizational levels. His long term support and on-going involvement in the hospitality industry’s national trade associations, such as PCMA, MPI, and IACC, allows Andy to regularly monitor the trends and needs of meeting planners and ‘hotel partners’ to ensure the services and technology his organization provides are cutting edge, and targeted to help clients meet their goals. As President of Freeman’s Audio Visual division, Ken Sanders oversees Freeman AV, Freeman Audiovisual Canada, Encore, Alford Media, and SRI. Before Freeman, Ken worked at Audio Visual Headquarters (AVHQ) as Vice President of the company’s hotel division. Ken then served as Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President for AVSC (now PSAV). Ken is recognized with developing PSAV’s successful hotel services business model, which grew to include more than 500 properties during his career there. He was also the Executive Vice President of Video Equipment Rentals (VER) where he oversaw 18 domestic and three international operations, as well as leading the company’s global sales strategy. CEO, Encore Productions As Chief Executive Officer at Encore Productions for over twenty years, Phil brings strength, vision and years of experience to the Encore line-up. His major in Cinematography and Theater Arts at Ohio State University initially led him into feature film and commercial production; however, after he moved to Las Vegas, he shifted his focus to convention and trade show production. Phil has since overseen Encore’s rapid growth, as well as producing hundreds of shows for a wide range of clients including IBM, Sony, and General Motors. Phil’s technical and production expertise are widely-recognized and highly-regarded throughout the industry. He is often asked to speak at conventions and gatherings related to event and presentation technology. President & CFO Encore Event Technologies Eddy Eisenberg is one of the most knowledgeable operators and financial officers in the audiovisual industry. He has a proven track record in the acquisition and disposition of audiovisual companies and he has been instrumental in the structuring of numerous national contracts. Prior to joining Encore Event Technologies, Eddy was the Executive Vice-President and Chief Financial Officer of Presentation Services. Eddy helped build the largest hotel audiovisual company in the United States through both internal growth and acquisitions. Through the disposition of Presentation Services and subsequent events, Eddy continued as the Executive Vice-President and Chief Operating Officer of Presentation Services - then a part of Caribiner International, an audiovisual and business center management company that serviced over 600 hotels throughout the United States, Mexico and South America. Eddy was responsible for the overall integration, branding and successful operation of seven audiovisual companies with annual revenues of $300M. In 1999, Eddy left Caribiner to start AVT Event Technologies, whose mission was to be recognized as the only hospitality technology enterprise that provides premium quality in-house services and technology solutions to key hotel partners. That recognition came to fruition in 2009 when AVT was recognized by the Freeman Company as a leading solution in the hospitality industry, and became their chosen partner for in-house event technology. Now, as AVT has become Encore Event Technologies, Eddy will continue in his role as President & CFO. President Encore Event Technologies Casino Division As Encore’s President and Chairman of the Board for over 20 years, Bill couples innovation with sound management skills to provide Encore with an energetic and highly effective management style. Bill graduated with honors from the University of California at Berkeley in the field of Finance and Marketing. Since then, he has held senior management positions with the Trump Organization, Knotts Berry Farm, Aztar Gaming Corporation, and with the Tropicana and Harrah’s Hotel properties.
