Roger Ellingson began his career in the farm drainage business as a Laborer, Operator, Crew Foreman and climbed the ranks getting into surveying, engineering, sales and has served as President for the past 17 years. Ellingson was a catalyst in the transition from clay and concrete tile to plastic tubing in the early 70’s and has had the opportunity to deliver quality drainage solutions to more than 3,000 farmers throughout his 40 years with the company. Roger continues to work closely with several Universities and industry experts throughout the Midwest and has traveled to several European Countries that have utilized farm drainage for over 200 years. Jeremy Ellingson is responsible for leading the strategy, management and overall key functional support for the organization. Ellingson has over 20 years in the industry and hands-on experience in every facet of the business ranging from Construction Operator, Survey Manager, Utility Operations Manager and General Manager to Chief Operating Officer of Ellingson Companies. His leadership has played a significant role in the development and growth of Ellingson Companies, Ellingson Trenchless, Llc., and Ellingson Drainage. Ellingson is an active member of Associated General Contractors, the National Utility Contractors Association, National Association of Trenchless Technology and the Midwest Energy Association. Ellingson Drainage is founded in West Concord, MN. Ellingson Drainage purchases laser guidance and high speed trencher for tile installation. Permanently changed from clay and concrete drainage tile to longer lasting, higher quality plastic drainage tile. Ellingson Drainage purchases first tile plow. Transitioned from installing tile using the trenching method to installing tile using the plowing method. Ellingson Drainage, Inc. Ellingson Drainage purchases first computerized mapping system, AutoCAD design system and a Total Station leading to more efficient and more accurate design. Ellingson Drainage builds 18,400 square foot headquarters facility in West Concord, MN. Ellingson Drainage becomes Ellingson Companies.
