With over 18 years of Human Resources experience, Karla’s ability to deliver practical, hands-on, easy-to-implement human resources and business strategies elevates organizational performance to new heights, with unlimited potential. Prior to launching ELEVA Solutions, Inc. in 2004, Karla was a Principal at RealInsight LLC. The outsourcing company provided innovative, seamless HR solutions to small to midsized companies. Karla handled marketing functions and helped the company build a strong client base. She helped clients with employee communications, development of personnel policies, employee relations, maintaining appropriate HR state and federal compliance practices, facilitating training initiatives and developing HR strategies in line with the client’s company culture. Karla’s corporate experience also includes serving as the Director of Human Resources for a well-established multi-state education management company that provided HR support and guidance to a 2000+ employee population base. Primarily responsible for leading HR compliance initiatives and providing labor guidance to public and private charter schools throughout the United States, Karla was integral in creating, rolling out and overseeing the best HR practices consistent with the organizational philosophy, while always ensuring regulatory and statutory requirements were met. In addition, Karla effectively designed and provided oversight for various workforce programs geared toward enhancing productivity and creating a rewarding work experience for all employees. In 1996, while working in the global, containerized shipping industry, Karla acquired international knowledge of HR practices and its effects on all level of employees. She spent over two years at “K” Line America, Inc. in New Jersey, where she was an integral part in the start-up of their National Operations Service Center to Virginia and was later promoted to the Corporate Headquarters in a more strategic HR position, assisting continuous development and growth of the company’s HR structure in Richmond, VA. An assertive professional with over 20 years of experience, Gibran Flynn uses his reputation as a troubleshooter to provide solutions to companies looking to improve and expand. As a partner of ELEVA Solutions, Inc., he develops, directs and implements plans and research projects that bring increased growth and financial profitability to his clients. Prior to becoming a partner at ELEVA, Flynn managed the daily operations of 16 Sprint retail stores in South Florida. His skill at managing cross-functional teams and implementing workflow processes helped increase sales by 15 percent each year for 7 years, placing South Florida among the top 5 districts in the nation. He also worked as a National Investigator for Let’s Talk Cellular and Wireless, overseeing inventory for over 140 retail stores in the South Eastern United States. Flynn’s extensive experience in inventory investigations and asset recovery started at Mervyn’s Department Stores in 1992. He was in charge of preventing, deterring, and apprehending shoplifters according to company policy and procedures. As Senior Risk Manager of Marshalls Department Stores, he recruited, trained and managed 14 detectives and reduced inventory shortage in eight retail stores grossing $68 million dollars. He also served as Regional Operations Investigator at Sunglass Hut International where he recovered over $750,000 in eleven months and reduced shrink in region from 3.8% to 1.9 %.
