As an aesthetic pursuit or as an investment, art collecting is an adventure. Elements in Play and its founder, Karen Boyer, specialize in Post-War and contemporary art, collaborating with clients at all levels of experience to make exploring and collecting fine art as enjoyable and rewarding as possible. Educating, inspiring, demystifying and guiding are all a part of the Elements in Play experience, and Karen’s approach is highly personal. She is eager to introduce novice collectors to the art world through private consultations and gallery tours, or to help those who are more experienced refine their collections, search more efficiently and care for their artworks meticulously. Karen has assisted clients in buying or selling works by promising emerging artists and by many well-known artists, including Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein, Sol LeWitt, Takashi Murakami, Ghada Amer, Fred Tomaselli, Yayoi Kusama and Marilyn Minter.
