The Doctor of Education (EdD) program emphasized an applied, project based approach to development of appreciable improvements in the body of educational practice. The EdD research focuses on solving a problem in the workplace or in the professional field of education and results in a dissertation, but also produces a "product" or solution. This degree will also help me increase their own workplace Leadership Skills. As a pioneer in eLearning this will give me the official title of "Doctor"....lol University of Saint Thomas-School of Business Majored in Executive Management MPS with a minor from University of Indiana Bloomington for Instructional System Design. This program helped me become one of the highest level of management within my organization to have the day-to-day tasks of co-founding and managing of Great LearningWorks. This is has turned our company into the leaders of online education in the corporate sector. University of Saint Thomas-School of Business Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.), Organizational Leadership As a firefighter for over 20 years this program provided me a better insight on the knowledge of fire prevention methods, fire detection systems, fire codes and standards, NFPA (National Fire Protection Association) Standards for Fire Officer I, and II, NFPA Standards for Fire Instructor I, II and III, plans examination for emergency services, and building construction. This program assisted me in qualifying for management positions within the fire service and the Certification from the Bureau of Fire Standards and Training for Fire Instructor III, the highest level to achieve within the Fire Service. Vice President of Business Development We started in Q4 of 2017 with the aim of creating a team of specialists for eLearning, web applications, website design, and eCommerce. The word Tri was chosen to describe the three major services that we have mastered. We have grown into a tightly knit team of well-equipped professionals to serve our clients to the next level. Director of eLearning and Business Development I was the Director of eLearning and business development for the largest direct to Consumer Company in the United States. I was one of the Co-founders of Great LearningWorks a subsidiary company of Great HealthWorks. I designed and implemented our own proprietary Learning Management System, XLearning as well as our proprietary virtual classroom called XL Virtual. I also designed our new GLW Ondemand eLearning site which launched in Q3 of 2016 with over 1000 eLearning OnDemand courses. I lead a team of PHP developers, Instructional Designers, and Instructional Content Developers. We created over 2000 courses with curriculum's, handouts and content development from eLearning levels 1-3. We designed microlearning and interactive gamification for today learning/learner environment targeting the millennial workforce. I was the Designer, Developer and Instructional System Designer for the Public Safety division of the Learning Management System, Blender. This platform provides training in a cost-effective way by maximizing training opportunities and minimizing time spent away from protecting the public for Public Safety Agencies. This LMS allows Instructors and command staff to adapt lessons in real-time. Blender™ Public Safety allows appropriate information to be provided quickly and accurately by enabling public safety agencies to build, create, link and maintain a flexible, state-of-the-art curriculum while aligning instructional plans, content and assessment to national, state or local learning objectives and standards.
