Who We Are Elder-Jones’ humble beginnings date back to September of 1971, with John Elder and Ray Jones working in a small basement office with one phone between the two of them. What started as a small company with two employees building spec homes and service stations gradually transitioned into one of the leading retail contractors in the country. An internal database of over 30,000 subcontractors assists in this endeavor. This is the foundation of our business and it does not waver. Elder-Jones recently completed the latest project for The Escape Game. The Escape Game is a team challenge game where participants are "locked" in a themed room and are given clues to complete a given mission within one hour. This was a fascinating build for Elder-Jones. It began as a standard build-out but as the project completion grew near, it morphed into a collaborative effort between the construction team and The Escape Game artists, engineers, and tech experts. A fully immersive themed experience for the customer was created.
