Carole Miller, LCSW-C, has been providing online counseling and therapy services since the 1990’s and is a caring professional you can trust. Ms. Miller offers personalized e-therapy services in a safe and compassionate environment. She has worked closely with people of various ethnic backgrounds and spiritual beliefs, both online and in professional agency settings. Ms. Miller has extensive experience providing crisis and trauma-related counseling, using brief treatment therapy, insight-oriented therapy, and task-centered and cognitive-behavioral approaches. With a strong background in family systems and interventions, she helps her clients successfully navigate relationships as well as heal from a variety of issues such as grief and loss, depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, spiritual problems, post-traumatic stress disorder, sexual and physical abuse, dissociative disorders, childhood trauma, sexual offense, addiction, domestic violence, substance abuse, divorce recovery, 12-step recovery, codependency and more. Ms. Miller earned her Master of Social Work degree, and her B.A. in Psychology, from the University of Illinois (UIC), Chicago, IL, USA, with honors. In addition to being a licensed clinical professional in good standing, Ms. Miller is a 12-step recovery leader in her community and an active disaster mental health volunteer in Central Maryland’s regional chapter of the Red Cross. She also serves nationally in their Reconnection Workshop initiative, helping veterans and their families via the Service to Armed Forces Branch, Washington, DC.
