ECommunity Research, LLC is an independent research organization dedicated to investigational drug research and diagnostic testing, specializing in the Central Nervous System (CNS) . Clinical trials that have been performed at our research site are Phase II– IV. ECommunity Research, LLC was founded in February 2012 by Dr. Patricio S. Espinosa; a Board certified Neurologist and Dr. Yaira Garzon, a Master in Clinical Research Administration and certified clinical research coordinator both with more than 11 years of experience in clinical research. The founders are dedicated to helping patients and families have an active role in their health care while providing research which will ultimately help others. Today, ECommunity Research is the only research site in the Hammond area conducting clinical trials in the Central Nervous System (CNS). Our expert and professional team of experienced staff are dedicated to the safety and well-being of our patients and the accuracy of research for our clients. Our spacious, state-of-the-art facility is conveniently located near New Orleans, and Baton Rouge’s major hospital systems, it is located in the North Oaks Clinic Building. Our center provides people in our community with neurological problems the opportunity to participate in nationally-sponsored clinical trials right here at home. If you qualify, you may have access to medications and medical devices that are not available in pharmacies. Participating in clinical studies provides the opportunity to contribute to scientific efforts to find new and effective medical treatments.
